The Dingle Peninsula has amazing scenery with beautiful trails to explore via walking, cycling or driving. Along the way there are countless beaches and archeological sites you can visit. For those who prefer, there are also guided tours available provided by experienced operators.
Book one of the boat tours, take a paddle board or kayak to see Dingle Bay and the spectacular cliffs up close. The famous Blasket Islands are also reachable by boat via Dingle Harbour. You might spot some of the local dolphins or seals along the way.
Throughout the year Dingle also hosts many arts and music festivals such as Feile Na Bealtaine , Dingle Food Festival, Other Voices and Wrens Day.
For the more artistically minded there are many galleries and local artisan shops sprinkled throughout Dingle Town.
I spent two nights in the Grapevine Hostel and had a great time! Everything was perfectly clean, the kitchen sufficiently equipped and the living room area comfortable and cozy to hang out. I got in touch with travelers and the staff very easily – thanks to them, my stay in Dingle became even better.
Great budget choice in a very expensive place like Dingle. Good wifi, clean facilities and a helpful staff. Definitely would recommend for fellow solo backpackers making their way through Dingle!
I loved my stay at grapevine hostel! The staff are super friendly and helpful. It’s a very small and cute place which made me feel very secure and gave me an “at home” feel. Would highly recommend staying here.
